I titled this project "Sweet Dreams" because of the it was a dream sequence. I deviated a bit from my original storyboard but I would say that it is about 90% of what I set out to achieve when I did my storyboards.

Final Project Treatment
So, I thought for my final project I would do a nightmare world. Most of which would be done through the use of after effects, stop motion and photoshop. The story line is a bit weird because it is a bit experimental. Basically someone goes to sleep, their brain opens up and a miniature version of themselves pops out and jumps down and starts entering into this "twilight zone" while there they float around in this purgatory like space where different recognizeable items from the past and present float around them. They finally land in this Alice in Wonderland room and their face begins to melt and they change into a different person. They begin to look around for help and as they do so their surroundings change in flash until they are finally back in their room. They get back to bed and wake up.
I chose this because I wanted to try something a bit different. I have been wanting to try stop motion animation for a while now so I think this would be a good opportunity. I have a camera but I have a friend that has a camera that is a bit more professional and I may ask him to use it for this project. In the end I am hoping to have a bit of a psychedelic world crossed with beetle juice. I think the thing that is going to take the longest is the stopmotion, especially since I will have a human subject. I am also, looking at playing with printing a few of the image sequences out and scanning them into the computer and seeing what effects I can create with scanner.
Here are my storyboards.
